Another defeat, but a brighter performance. Gritty defense, hard-work, a strong half-court and improved communication. This pretty much sums it up.
While we are disappointed after being 1-1 with 5 mins. to go and then losing 2-1 on a late corner goal we must take the positives from this game. We seemed to find our basic skills and the max. work-rate which in the past has led Canada to victories. Although not enough I do believe Australia will be respecting us tomorrow.
Another great corner execution led to a great goal from Tupper. Their goals were scored by local town hero Josh Turner (I think thats his name) and Matt Guest on a late corner flick.
Canada were robbed in the last 2 minutes when in one play a breakaway was stopped against Mark Pearson and the rebound off the GK's pads hit him in the chest. Play was allowed to continue and Gabbar had the rebound off Pearson's chest blocked by an Australia foot. Talk about home court advantage

!
We will hold our heads high for the last game of the tour and hope for an even better performance leading to a result in Canada's favor.
