I feel the rules should be changed in regard to the low-back hand hit. It should be only used as a shot at goal. I know that sometimes (not often) it can be used as a great attacking pass, but most of the time it is used on the left side of the field in defence when someone is under pressure or as a hit into the circle. I have seen many times in international games that the ball has gone high and is blown for dangerous play. Now, if the best players in the world can't control this shot, then how can the average player be expected to do it. Are the rule makers going to wait until some people are going to be hit in the head before they do something about it???

I think the backhand cross and the backhand sweep pass are exciting skills in the game. Removing that will remove a lot of creativity from our game. I do believe it should only be used when there is noone within a certain distance of where the ball is hit from.  How do you monitor this skill without removing it? Interesting pt. though for sure and one that is worth discussing.
